Coffey Park, saw Emma and Jack for a bit. Emma smiling uncontrollably and skating on rollerblades, gliding over the concrete to me for a quick hug & kiss. Jack coming out to say hi, hug me and asking me if I’ll call this week. “Of course dude,” I said. Probably going to try tonight, see if there’s a blockade.
My mood and temperament, elevated. To the highest altitude after reading again and re-re-re-reading the photo book the Nurse made for me, my favorite Xmas gift. Theming it ‘The Nurse and The Professor. Reminding me I need to somehow get back to that, just no grading papers.
Not sure how far away she is, how much writing time I have and it doesn’t matter. It’s all about her, us… this new story. This new year where I will get pronouncedly aggressive with negative forces that circle and encroach.
