Putting together plans for BottledauxPhotog, which is what I’m calling it now.  Not ‘Photography.

Starting with wine and Sonoma County…. Blogging, short posts.  Bringing max down from 199 to 115.  Words, word count I mean.

Sue tells me we’re tasting a Pinot tonight… interesting as Pinot is rarely a paired wine in this house.  Selling wine back on mind, the tasting room and those tastings we’d do as a crew at FFW.  In the morning, hosted by one of the somms.

Started something new on the wine iPad, which is what I’m calling it, why I bought it.  To have it be like a register for the vvv blog.  Wine is the story, I see again.  Last night sharing a bottle of the Cooney Cabernet from Dutcher Crossing with the Nurse.

Miss the days at that winery, with Lainy and Jesse, Collyn, Ryan, Kali, and whomever else.  There was something about hat property, the way it stretched North and South on Dry Creek Road… I’m being brought back, just thinking about it.  I look for a picture, find one.

This is it, exactly what I’m talking about.  What I want to write when writing wine.. that feeling in the morning, why anyone works at a winery.  The peace, the images, the language and characters, where people visit from and when they tell you why they’re there.  The poetics in their disclosures.
