adjunct note

New ideas for courses that I’ve taught over and over, overtly– sounds like a big dose of repeat. And it is. But with a change of attitude and now my discovery of looking at it with a little humor lens, I become more excited. I have to laugh at how the full-timers, at least some/most/yes, all, of them, walk around like they know what is and what is is their version of what IT is; IT being ‘to be educated’, and ‘to write properly’ (which I’ve never understood, especially since they all have different definitions of the properness dynamic) and… not sure where else I was going. I’m an adjunct and I’m thinking. And I hope I get in trouble but trouble as it best benefits and makes proud my students. (3/19/15)
