Out of class.  Kept them about 30 minutes which is much longer than I measured discussing the book with them.  Soon as home.. shower, PJs, everything to heal and prep the writer for morrow.

My “advice” to writers, adjuncts, wine people if in this spot, or anyone really (and again, I’m only now really appreciating this):  attack the germ with water, and force yourself to pillow & sheets.  Your ardor will come back.  The time you can retrieve or mimic, but there WILL be other times for you to be effulgent, radiant.
