She upstairs getting ready for a lunch trip to Marin with Mom.  Me here feeling frustrated in this search, impatient, and simply annoyed.  Leads not materializing.

Glasses upstairs, should go get them but I need some time here.  Enlarge screen, that’s better.  Incongruence about me this morrow, fixing it as swiftly as I’m able.  The Nurse recalling the story of how I acquired the loft, writing the owners a letter when I was told it was taboo to do so then my realtor Denise suggested I send them something.  I did, and here I am.

Feel like the same approach is needed in this search.  Selling self, but not.  Narrating, telling the Mike Madigan story differently.  Like Mark said a couple years ago on the President’s Club trip after I voiced some concern about out department – “Just do a bunch of different shit.”

10:35 – Nurse leaves for Santa Rosa to get Sue.  Me at desk with sparkling water and a new lead, someone reaching out to me.  I have to laugh sometimes when sales managers reach out with sales-speak, like I don’t see through it or recognize their tone and node.
