Kids in office with me, playing a game.

Me thinking about life, how the kids will only get more expensive – everything from braces to whatever, then more of the whatever, then a carpet-bombing of whatever all at the same time.  It’s life, it’s being a parent… watching little Henry play this evening and how he just goes from one thing to another without thinking but appeasing his aim of simply enjoying himself… obvious lesson.

The shift moving forward, and me a new charger – excited and terrified, exhilarated and guarded.  So now what, the writer asks himself… again.
