Target today is 8.5 miles, response to co-worker’s challenge to do so, he doing 8.4-something earlier this morning.  Start slow… do new route, into vineyard and up Hopper.  The feeling of completing it.. easily attained.  Beat last 8-mile run time, if you can.  Need break from this chair, the screen, the notes, the project.

After, meditation… collection.  Music, quiet, no writing.  Not types.

Approaching 80 degrees already.  Pace will be a determinant.

San Miguel west to Fulton…. Or Coffey loop to Hopper….

Don’t look at Garmin, your time as much.  Forget the time, be seduced by the steps.
