Facebook memories reminding me of the wine story, past, St. Francis and the other wineries I’ve seen and experienced, over the past 10+ years.  Kunde, that Mountaintop tasting and tour, how I loved taking people up there and was rolling my eyes when it was time to leave.

What to do with wine now… write and blog about it.  Share anything and everything I can – descriptor from a journal, written in 2016 when somewhat seasoned at Dutcher Crossing, “Damp tire-inside and a digitized bite of vanilla wafer…”

What the fuck made me think of that?  Digitized?  Now all I want to do is write wine again, connect the idea and experience, work of wine to other life facets. 

How to do this… think.  The Pinot and Zin from last night, the Cab the Nurse brought me from Hearst Castle’s label.  Write everything…. Everything.  Relaxing with these ideas, letting wine communicate with this writer.
