In writing your story, your aims….

Be tireless, be non-template.  Break patterns and molds you recognize in yourself.

Read and re-read your entries, yourself – how you spend your day.  What you’re doing, where, how….

Don’t just practice a certain mindfulness of Self.  Embody it.

Sent an email that could change some things.  Could be something, or nothing.  I’ll never know unless I reach out, I told myself.

Writing about the Now – the Self, and how to change it.  Unbelievably interesting to me.

11:28, nearly time for our lunch date.  Love our laughs and what we explore and talk about, what we plan.  Reading a new Sedaris book, and will share with Nurse after she finishes Didion’s Magical Thinking.

My dad the pilot, sister the winemaker, Nurse the… well, Nurse.  And me… the professor?

YES.

Teaching, yes, but more sharing of ideas.  Inviting others, and collaborating.

The journal from the Nurse, a strong starting point and declaration.  Not sure what today’s prompt is.  Haven’t looked…. Do I ever get alone time, it asks.

Then of course I go to alone versus with someone, like the Nurse or my kids.  What is done with the minutes, hours, days.

And more importantly – WHAT DO WE DO??  Period… for work, for fun, to relax, meditate and collect.  The bigger question for me now while trying listening to LoFi when I should be working and making calls.
