You have to do it yourself.. Completely a ‘DIY’ reality, this writing life.  That’s not to say you need be antisocial of hinderingly introverted, or anything like that.  It’s just all on you.  ‘The onus is yours’, I stress every semester.  So… Just start writing.  Then, pages collect.  And you only have yourself to credit.  Or blame, if nothing gets done.
