Lecture, 4/28/16

I envy his urge to play, just play, see how trucks look when lined up a purposeful way.  He said tonight, “Just relax, Dada.” I tried to be firm and not relax, telling him it’s time for bed, but I knew he was, is, right.  I need to relax.  Little Kerouac continues to be my most expansive and relevant professor, ever.

He then went back to lining up his cars, drawing my attention to three, four of them.. “You see that, Dada?”

“I do, buddy,” I returned.

I have to enjoy this.  All of this.

I need to play more.
