15:35 working at VV desk, waiting for my sweet Nurse to come home. Challenging self, now going to say how. Ran into another Nurse, friend of NT (my Nurse), and she trains currently for a triathlon. As in, a full one. Swimming, 100+ miles biked I think, then 26.2 run after. Actually I don’t know if it’s in that order, and what does it matter. I need that degree of discipline.
That’s where I’m going, that’s what I’m doing. To an extremity of regiment and health architecture that I have never enacted or thought of instituting.
Setting alarm for 05:00, hitting pavement right after. Goal is at least 5k, then come home and play with weights. Should probably go get the kettle bell I brought here from the loft, bring to this floor and swing it around between paragraphs.
Light lunch, leftover chicken and rice, broccoli and chopped sweet potato from the other night when the kids were here. Jack said it was his favorite meal so far of hers. Can’t explain my gratitude….
Mental Health, then the physical…. Running has to be the epicenter of fitness practice, then bolstered with weights. Keeping weights significant but not the anchor.
