Streets and Their Songs

Lights and crosswalks, passing moms with strollers

Dogs, leashes, sun for some reason stronger

Not wanting to work but just walk

Wherever, no goal

The pattern and repeat is old

Tenure blown away, feather

Peace to self, room stairs window Beat

Miracle bowl, soccer ball on side then other

One second turns into a month

Numbers I forgot and don’t need, so why

Having day with hearts and kings, other cards

Walking in circles in public yards, kiss darts

Moment to moment marks, fill arcs with smile harps
